After dominating the metal sector for more than four decades, the Laxmi Group (www.laxmigroup.net.in), led by CMD Subhash M Nahar and his son Harshal Nahar, MD, entered the glass market with the Luminaz brand. The brand has received national and international accreditation, including ARAI and E'marking Certifications. To face well-established worldwide opponents in their own game was a tremendous task.
However, in 2014, under the visionary leadership of the owners, they timed the introduction of a glass greenfield project named LUMINAZ SAFETY GLASS PVT LIMITED in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, with an annual capacity of delivering one million Laminated Glass Windshields/annum in a range of sizes for all three-wheeler and four-wheeler passenger and commercial vehicles.
Laxmi Group has stretched its wings across India with its brand Luminaz, a complete solution provider of Automotive Glass products, as one of India's major automotive component manufacturers. It launched in 2016 and sent its first tempered glass consignment in 2017. It has a modified European line and a unique setup with in-house world-class tool making, quality lab, and testing facility. They have marched forward since then.

Currently, Luminaz is spread across 4,000 cities and towns in India and 77 countries through various OEMs such as Bajaj, TVS Motors, Luminaz Exports, and Luminaz R & D. Luminaz has become an automotive glass player with a solid international presence. With their vast product lines, especially automotive laminated deep bend glass products, Luminaz has acquired more than 50% business shares of Bajaj Auto Limited and 80% from TVS Motors.
With these Original Equipment manufacturers, TVS Motors and Bajaj, the team is leading as an automotive component supplier. Mr. Subhash Nahar and Mr. Harshal Nahar have the vision to be leaders in upcoming EV developments, including automotive components manufacturing and assembly. Luminaz is ready to rule the automotive glass product in the deep bend three-wheeler segment and the forthcoming EV market as a press components manufacturer.

By adapting the countrywide mission to go green with clean energy with its five-acre solar shed, Luminaz was awarded the Best Young Emerging Company by Glass Bulletin Awards in 2019. The brand aims to multiply with radical transformations and develop substantial employment opportunities in the automotive glass product industry. The team strives hard to become a complete cost-effective solution from mass production to designing with high-quality standards.
