Grading Criteria and Scale

Criteria for B-School and Engineering College Grading

B-School and Engineering College Gradings assigned are independent unbiased opinions of B2K Analytics on the quality of the programme offered and the ability of the Institute to deliver and transfer knowledge to the student.



Grading Scale

B-School Grading

B-School gradings are assigned on two scales- National level grading scale and State level grading scale. The grading scales for both the National and State level progress from A starstarstar to B

B-School gradings are assigned to Institutes which offer different programmes. B- School gradings can also be assigned for particular courses, if so desired by the Institute.

State Level Gradings are assigned with the suffix of the state in which the institute is located.

For example, a B-School in Karnataka may be assigned a grade B2K A starstarstar (KA), a marketing course in a B-School in Karnataka may be assigned a grade B2K A starstarstar (Marketing) (KA) .

National Level Gradings are assigned with the suffix of National.

For example, a National level grading for a B-School may be assigned as B2K A starstarstar (National), a marketing course in a B-School may be assigned a grade B2K A starstarstar (Marketing) (National).

Engineering Grading

Engineering College Grading is assigned on a State level grading scale only. The State Level grading scale progresses from A starstarstar to B, with A starstarstar being the Highest Grade.
