Incorporated in the year 2004, Suman Manufacturing Works (www.mjbgroup.co.in) is a public limited company that is engaged in the business of manufacturing crush-tear-curl tea. The company has its registered office in Kolkata, West Bengal, and is currently running under the expertise of Vikash Bansal, Vineet Bansal, and Komal Agarwal.

Tata Global Beverages, Parcon India, and Contemporary Brokers are its top customers, while Cauvery Value, Mudipara Value, and Gaganbari Value are some of the brand names under which the company is marketing its product. Suman Manufacturing Works is one of the largest bought tea leaf factories in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri district and is a part of MJB Group, which has entered into tea blending and packaging operations with the company.

According to a paper published by the federal Commerce Ministry in 2003, “Bought leaf tea factory” means a factory that sources not less than two-thirds of its tea leaf requirement from other tea growers during any calendar year to manufacture tea.Apart from Suman Manufacturing Works, Brojendra Plantation, Mars Tea (India), Sarodamoni Tea Company, Sanyasihat Tea Processing, and New Leaf Tea Plantation are the other bought leaf tea factories of the MJB Group.

Renowned names like Tata Tea, Hindustan Unilever, Wagh Bakri Tea, Mohini Tea, and Jayashree Tea are among MJB’s prominent clientele.Apart from the tea business, MJB has spread its wings in real estate, automobile dealerships, rice milling plants, and ultra-high-speed broadband services.
