GOLD STAR STEELS : Forging new Foundry Standards for Two Decades

Two decades ago, Mr Pramod Vaswani established Gold Star Steels (www.goldstarsteels.com), a modest induction melting foundry in Raipur, Chhatisgarh. Having weathered several business cycles, this company today is a leading manufacturer of ductile and grey cast iron products.

Since its launch, the company has been committed to quality and has successfully perfected its manufacturing processes to become a key player in the forging industry. Their initial offerings included the supply and manufacture of inserts and wires to the Indian Railways. Today, thanks to continuous innovation and technical upgrades, they have developed customized and versatile products to cater to different industry segments.

Over the past two decades, this company has undergone several expansions to increase its production capacity and offerings. In 2002, Gold Star underwent its first expansion and set up its wire division to manufacture and supply 3x3 ply and 4 mm High Tension Wires. Their alloy and carbon steel ingots are versatile and used by many industries to manufacture a range of products like structural I-beams, channel sections and angles, round bars, plates, strips, rectangular and hexagonal sections, railroad rails, reinforcing bars, and many more. In 2016 Gold Star Steels diversified into producing and supplying manhole covers for Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.

Gold Star Steels has an installed capacity to process 500 tons of scrap daily. In addition to Indian Railways and Brihanmumbai Corporation, the proud customers of Gold Star Steels Private Limited include Malu Sleepers Private Limited, Patil Rail Infrastructure Private Limited, Sawaria Pipes Private Limited, Real Ispat and Power Limited.
