Together, the father-son duo set out to modernize custom jewellery craftsmanship through advanced technology and skilled manpower. The name has now established itself as the industry leader in the manufacturing, wholesale, and export of 925 sterling silver, brass, and gold jewellery along with certified gemstones and diamonds. 22 years later, they have not only fulfilled their vision but have also given the jewellery industry sustainable goals like never seen before!

The journey began back in 1975 when Jugal Kishor Gupta started sourcing precious and semiprecious gemstones and soon rose to repute among global brands and retailers. Carrying forward his father’s legacy, Arvind Gupta, a diamond graduate from the prestigious Gemological Institute of America, led Gallant into the next phase of growth.

Gallant’s humble beginnings saw a team of 10 craftsmen working to make exceptional quality jewellery and custom designs. Intending to design more technically challenging pieces, Arvind Gupta grew their workforce to more than 400 craftsmen. He also set up highly advanced factories. Soon, Gallant broke the glass ceiling by partnering with world-renowned designers and retailers under Gupta’s skilled leadership.

Wanting to create more impact, Gupta pledged to be a sustainability-forward jeweller in 2019 and launched the brand ‘Gemeco’ which uses only lab-grown diamonds and recycled gemstones and metals.

Despite this phenomenal success, Gupta keeps the well-being of his employees at the center of operations. Gallant facilitated COVID vaccinations for all employees and came forward with monetary support as well during the pandemic. As Gallant continues to grow, Arvind Gupta keeps the core values of quality, integrity, commitment, and adaptability intact and pays tribute to the vision with which his father-built Gallant’s foundation many years ago.
