A futuristic vision of Achal Choudhary shaped a modern education system.

Coming from a small town in Madhya Pradesh, Rampura, Achal Choudhary understood the importance of education. He credits his parents and teachers who; inculcated in him the education and culture of free thinking, which made him choose architecture at IIT Kharagpur in 1968 and blend well with the metropolitan; and friendly environment of IIT Kharagpur despite the English language barrier. The analytical thinking inherited at IIT led him to pave a path in the education system. He believes that an architect does not just build a building but also society, and perfection in societal design comes from education.

Mr. Choudhary is the driving force behind introducing professional education in the private sector of Central India. He set the foundation stone of an interest-based fun learning education system in 1987 with The Indore Public School. While searching for good academia for his daughter, he realized the acute shortage of good schools focusing on the overall development of children through academics, sports, and extra-cocurricular, inspiring him to start Indore Public School. Intending to provide; education for all students with the best facilities, the fee is affordable to everyone. The mantra of school is “CARE, CAPACITY, and CAPABILITY." We need to strengthen the foundations of happiness and well-being in children. Said Mr. Choudhary.

Indore Professional Studies Academy (IPS) (www.ipsacademy.org) was designed in 1994. This premier educational institution sprawls across about 60 acres with state-of-the-art facilities in various fields to nurture and educate young minds to become responsible global citizens. This non-government funded autonomous institution has 16 different colleges teaching 71 courses.

Envisioning the future of education and understanding the acute shortage of higher education in rural areas, two colleges were started in rural areas close to Indore with virtual classrooms much before the pandemic. Lectures get delivered from the main campus virtually.

IPS academy brings in new concepts and aptitude in education.

Not just IQ but EQ (Emotional Quotient) is, instilled, in students. The mantra of IPS Academy is Identify, Ignite and Innovate. While the country was grappling with the pandemic, IPS Academy identified sparks in students, ignited them, and placed them in companies to bring innovations.

Despite the pandemic, they were able to secure placements for their students in 420 prestigious companies.
