“Healthy Mind, Healthy Body” is an adage every parent love to quote, and yet when it comes to our society, people run from accepting the legitimacy of mental illness.
For Delhi-based entrepreneur, Ambika Warrier working in a school as a counsellor happened by chance, but luckily with it came to the realization that it was her true calling in life. After years of dabbling in it along with a full-time job, she decided to open her own clinic in collaboration with a friend in May 2020. Their aim was to help people realize and deal with their emotions and distress healthily, treating the illness before it became a disease.
Unfortunately, with the pandemic and lockdowns in full force, even though the physical clinic could not provide its intended purpose, she resorted to online counselling. With nowhere to go, the world learned the immense importance of having to deal with psychological issues, to address the needs of the mind and the soul became blatantly obvious.

Finally, in February 2022 partnering with Adyant Health, she has been able to relaunch her clinic Aananda Centre for Counselling (www.aanandacounselling.in). Due to the lack of awareness regarding mental health, people tend to give up at even the slightest hindrance. Anticipating the predisposed apprehensions people usually have, she wanted to create a safe environment that was a one-stop place hence they offer services to treat psychological and emotional distress that span across all age groups and genders along with ayurvedic solutions for those who may require that as an option as well.
Their USP is Marma Chikitsa and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Tapping, a form of therapy for which Ambika, a licensed Psychologist & Psychotherapist, is one of the only two people in India to have published a research paper on the effects of EFT tapping.
